The following is a breakdown of the deposit schedule for the student Tournament of Roses Parade Tour only, and does not include our regular program band fees. We want for every student to be able to attend the Tournament of Roses Parade Tour, but please keep in mind that it is optional and considered separate from the traditional MHS Band schedule. However, your student may continue to participate in the MHS Band without attending the Tournament of Roses Parade Tour. Please note that band fees for our regular 2018 band program will be set in February. As always, please let us know if you have any questions. The Tour information will be posted on the website soon, along with the friends and family package information.
The projected cost per student for the Tour is $2200 without fundraising. However, we are projecting that the cost per student with fundraising will be approximately $1000. We cannot stress enough how important it will be to participate in the fundraising opportunities to assist each student with the cost for the Tour. The Sponsorship Team will also be approaching many businesses to assist with the fundraising efforts.
All band fees for previous years and up to the 2017 season will need to be paid in full by November 30, 2017 to be allowed to attend the Tournament of Roses Parade Tour. All band fees for the 2018 season will need to be paid in full by November 30, 2018. Any student who is not current on their band fees will not be allowed to attend the Tour. Band fee payments will be separate from the Tour payments.
